About the role
As the Territory Sales Manager for the Northeast Region, covering Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing both direct sales and channel relationships. This is a hands-on sales role, requiring a proactive and technically adept individual to lead the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and presenting to closing deals.
You’ll work closely with distributors to identify and win opportunities, provide training and support, and ensure they have the tools needed to succeed. Additionally, you’ll cultivate direct customer relationships to target key accounts, open new markets, and promote SensoPart’s innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presenting, and closing opportunities with direct customers.
- Strategically target and develop key accounts to drive growth.
- Solve basic technical application challenges independently, leveraging internal engineering support when needed.
- Build strong relationships with distributors and integrators to maximize their success.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance distributor sales and technical proficiency.
- Partner with distributor teams on joint sales calls, customer presentations, and deal closures.
- Collaborate with SensoPart’s marketing team and distributors on co-branded campaigns and events.
- Research and identify new business opportunities within the region.
- Generate leads through cold calling, market analysis, and attending trade shows.
- Monitor and analyze territory performance, adjusting strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Utilize SensoPart’s CRM to manage opportunities, track progress, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Report regularly on sales performance, key opportunities, and market trends.

Desired Skills and Experience
Sales Expertise:
- Proven track record in managing the full sales cycle in a technical sales environment.
- Strong ability to prospect, present, and close deals independently.
- Experience supporting and motivating distributor networks.
- Ability to understand and explain industrial automation solutions, particularly in machine vision and optical sensors.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills for basic application challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative selling approach.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Desired skills and qualities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or Business, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of technical sales experience, preferably in industrial automation or related fields.
- Knowledge of machine vision and optical sensors is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Valid US driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Valid US Passport for occasional international travel (1-2 times per year).
