Your Role
This is a high-impact growth role combining strategic account management with new business development across key UK manufacturing sectors.
You will be responsible for growing SensoPart UK's revenue within the automotive, electronics, and medical technology industries. Working across a national territory, you will develop existing strategic accounts while identifying and securing new opportunities with end users, machine builders, line builders, and system integrators.
You will inherit an established customer base while playing a key role in expanding SensoPart's market presence throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic key accounts across the automotive, electronics, and medical technology sectors.
- Develop and execute account growth plans to maximise revenue, customer retention, and long-term partnership value.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers and technical specialists to procurement leaders and senior decision-makers.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target industries and applications.
- Convert qualified leads into active customers and long-term strategic partners.
- Act as a consultative advisor on machine vision and optical sensor applications.
- Work closely with internal sales, technical support, product management, and marketing teams to deliver customer success.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting through CRM tools.
- Represent SensoPart at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or similar), Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of successful sales experience within industrial automation, machine vision, sensors, robotics, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a technical B2B environment.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify, develop, and close new opportunities independently.
- Experience with machine vision, industrial sensors, robotics, automation systems, or related technologies.
- Confidence discussing technical applications with engineers and production specialists.
- Ability to understand, explain, and position technical automation solutions.
- Strong consultative selling approach with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships and become a trusted advisor to customers and partners.
- Commercially driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently within a national territory.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
